Electronic Prescribing Service

The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is an NHS service. It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the chemist of your choice to get your medicines or appliances from, saving you time.

Nominate a Local Pharmacy

Patients can choose a pharmacy for their electronic prescription to be sent to a pharmacy of their choice. This is called nomination. Once a patient has nominated their chosen pharmacy, this preference will be stored (on the NHS Spine) unless the patient decides to change their nomination. Speak to practice receptionist or your local pharmacist regarding this arrangement.
